Renville Andre Bell Jr. was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 8, 1964 to the union of Renville Andre Bell, Sr. and Helen Jean Walker-Bell. Renville grew up with several nicknames; he was well- known as Andre, Rennie and Bell Andre has always shown ambition, hard work and dedication. He started off working and learning alongside his late grandfather, Deacon LV Walker, at a young age.

Whether they were washing trucks or tending to his grandfather’s cattle, Andre took pride in listening to his grandfather’s wise words and supporting him with pure joy. Andre graduated from Paseo High School in 1983 and that same year Andre and long-term girlfriend, Lisa Paul, were blessed with a baby boy, Andre DaMar Bell. In 1990 he met Kathryn Brown and gained a child, Andre Jerome Brown.

Andre and Kathryn were blessed with a baby girl, Myesha LaShay Bell, in 1993. Inspired by his grandfather over the years he started his own custodial business and created well-respected careers at yellow Freight, Tasty Bread and the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Andre loved everyone dearly in his life; his family, childhood friends, adulthood friends, and close colleagues and he would always let you know through kind actions and caring words.

His favorite saying, he grew up with instilled in him was, “Just do the right thing”. This saying was passed down from his grandparents as Andre taught and passed it down to his children that he loved so so much, and it will continue to get passed down to his grandchildren and generations to come. He was preceded in death by his parents, Renville and Hellen Bell; loving brother, Tracy Trent Walker, Sr.; caring grandparents; and other close relatives.

He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Andre Bell (Angela) and Andre Brown; daughter, Myesha Bell; seven grandchildren, Bradleigh, Harper, Lynnette, Andre Jr., Kennedie, Isaiah, Logan; as special companion of 10 years, Gloria Stephens; ex-wife and friend, Kathy Bell; nephews; Christopher, Dupree, Tracy, Tracy Walker, Jr. and Marcus Walker, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other close relatives. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Watkins Heritage Chapel. Visitation 9:00 A.M. Interment Brooking Cemetery.
