Obituary for Rev. Dean M. Bobb Sr. Rev. Dean M. Bobb Sr., 89, of Locust Drive, Reedsville, went to be with the Lord on Friday Dec.

28, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born on April 3, 1929, in Yeagertown, the son of the late Charles and Athalia (Young) Bobb. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Doris, on Oct.

12, 2018. Surviving is a son, Dean M. Bobb Jr. and wife, Susan; grandsons, Christopher and wife, Christie, and Andrew; great-grandson, Jarod; and several nieces and nephews, all of Chambersburg. Dean was preceded in death by: an infant son; a sister, Beverly Saylor; and a brother, Neil Bobb.

Rev. Bobb was a minister for 45 years, servicing Trinity United Church of Christ in Lewistown, Milroy, Siglerville, Jonestown, Williamsport, Norris, Elken, Marion, Abbottstown and McClure. Rev.

Bobb was a past president of the Chief Logan Lions Club and past vice president of First Area Federal Credit Union and Masonic Lodge No. 205 for 60 years. He was also on the Area on Aging Advisory Board, Lebanon County.

Also, he was a 50-year member of UCT. Rev. Bobb served his country in the U.S. Army medical field during the Korean conflict.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 20 Oak St., Lewistown, with Rev. Narda Druckenmiller officiating.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 20 Oak St., Lewistown, PA 17044, or Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance, 344 Leedy Way Chambersburg, PA 17202.
