Rev. James Howard Ross June 08, 1933 – March 19, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Rev. James Howard Ross, age 85, passed away Tuesday, (March 19, 2019) in Gray, Georgia.

He was born on June 8, 1933 in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Bernie and Earskel Fauber Ross. Rev. Ross was a member of the Rock of Ages Baptist Church, in Huntington, West Virginia.

He is survived by his children, James Wendell Ross, Crystal Dawn Black (Chris) and Russell Dean Hack Sr. (Deana) all of Gray Georgia; Eight Grandkids, 12 Great Grandkids, and Eight Great Great Grandkids; Brother in law, Thomas Coates (Joyce), Several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Other than his parents, Rev. Ross was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years Clara Juanita Ross, one brother, Danny Ross, and one sister Naomi Hughes.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, (March 23, 2019) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mickey Coates will be officiating.

Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of services. Online condolences can be made in the guestbook on our website at www.
