Theresa Kathryn Bolen, 81, of Owensboro passed away May 20, 2019 at Signature Healthcare at Hillcrest. She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on March 2, 1938 to George and China Mayme O’Bryan Montgomery. Teresa was a homemaker.

She enjoyed tending to her flowers in her garden, and baking. Along with her parents, Teresa is preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Lou. Theresa is survived by her husband of 44 years, Sherman Ray Bolen, her children, William Marion Howard, Perry Steven (Kathy) Howard, Charles Ray (Lauren) Bolen, 4 grandchildren, and her siblings, Margaret Richeson and Carl Montgomery.

Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Father Basilio officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, and again from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
