OBITUARY Rhea Louise Ford January 16, 1952 – October 17, 2018 YARMOUTH PORT- Rhea Louise “Cookie” Ford, entered into rest after a long illness on Oct. 17, 2018 with her family by her side. Cookie was born in Leominster MA in 1952, to the late, Wilfred George Brouillet & Helen Louise Brouillet, where she stayed until after graduating from Wachusett Regional High School.

She then moved to Hyannis in the 1970’s to be closer to her sisters. When moving to the Cape she lived many years in Hyannis and then moved to Yarmouth Port and was a long time employee of Town Taxi. She enjoyed the beach with her Sister Donna and her grandchildren.

She also was a part of many community events such as parades & festivals. She was an avid gardener and devout Christian who loved to volunteer for church events giving back to her faith. Cookie will be sorely missed and was loved by her family, friends and her beloved cat Cassie.

Cookie always found peace at the beach. She would say to us all, “Go to the beach and I will be there to comfort you”. She is survived by her sisters Donna Brouillet of Hyannis, Cathy Reno Brouillet of Provincetown and her brother Edward George Brouillet of Westminster MA; her children, Kevin Ford of Marietta, GA, Kammy McIntyre of Dennis MA, and Kathy Muffie Ford of Westport MA.

; and her grandchildren, Jerrid, Madison, Kayla and Amber and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to give a big thanks to her amazing doctor, Dr. Reimer, Kidney Center of Cape Cod, the staff at Cape Cod Hospital Mugar 5, CICU staff and the ER staff. A memorial service of remembrance celebrating her life will be held on Saturday Oct.

27th 2018, at 12 noon at the Marston’s Mills Community Church, located at 2135 Main street, Marston’s Mills, Ma. A private burial service will be held at a later date. Should friends desire, memorial donations can be made to her Kidney center: Patient Care Fund of Mashpee, 241 Willow Street, Hyannis , MA 02601, In memory of Rhea “Cookie” Ford.
