Obituary of Rhonda Gail Ellis Drake Rhonda Ellis Drake, 58, of Pittsboro died Monday, December 3, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Drake was born in Davidson County on December 16, 1959 the daughter of Bob Wade and Greta Freida (Slutz) Ellis. Rhonda was a homemaker and attended Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Rhonda was a former employee of Townsends, enjoyed fishing, trips to the beach, and playing cards. She loved her children and grandchildren and was always concerned for their well-being. Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two daughters: Rebecca Drake of Graham and Nicole Wall of Chapel Hill; one son: Michael Drake of Stuart, VA; one sister: Rita Evans of High Rock Lake; three brothers: Ronnie Ellis of Bynum, Robert Ellis and Roland Ellis both of Bear Creek; five grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, December 7, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Friday at 12:00 Noon at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Wesley Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Pittsboro. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Smith & Buckner Funeral Home.
