Obituary of Sherman Krake Biscoe – Sherman W. Krake, age 87, formerly of New London, WI went to his Lord on Monday, January 21, 2019. Sherman was born in New London, WI, on March 16, 1931, to his parents, Luther and Emma Rousseau Krake. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

He worked as a well driller and built grain elevators for silos. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Sherman is survived by four children, Vicky (Glen) Taylor of Marion; Kim Moder of New London, Kevin (Stacey) Krake of Freedom, and Kerry (Carrie) Krake of Clintonville; six grandchildren, Todd Noak Jr., Chris Noak, Adam Van DenBogart, Mason Krake, Jessie Krake and Callie Krake; and eight great-grandchildren.

He is further survived by his siblings, Robert Krake (Gloria) of New London; Carol Holm (Wirt) of New London; sisters-in-law, Judy Krake of New London and Dale Krake of Argonne; brother-in-law, Bill Becker of Iola; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Krake and Jay Krake of New London, Norbert Krake of Argonne; sister, Sharon Becker of Iola; and grandson, Brandon Shadduck of New London. A private service will be held.

Interment will be at Mosquito Hill Cemetery, Town of Liberty, WI. The family would like to thank the staff at Quail Haven Village and The Greens at Pinehurst Rehabilitation & Living Center. The Krake family is being assisted by Phillips Funeral Home, Star, NC and Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London, WI.
