Obituary of Martha Fruitt Martha Lee Staley Fruitt, age 73, of Franklinville died Friday, January 11, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Fruitt was born October 7, 1945 the daughter of Fred and Mattie Hughes Staley. Martha was a native of Randolph County and retired from Dixie Belle Textiles.

She loved to watch the hummingbirds and westerns on T.V. In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband Roy Fruitt, brothers, Larry Staley, Harold Staley and Clifford Hughes. She is survived by her sons: Scott Marion and wife Tracy of Randleman, and John Marion of Climax; sister: Sandra Ramey of Randleman; step daughters: Debbie Lynn McNeill and husband Ricky of Seagrove, and Terri Annette Robinson and husband Miles of Randleman; step son: Charles Ray Fruitt and wife Emma of Climax; 4 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; and her special canine companions: Gracy and Dully. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus.
