Obituary for Rhonda Floyd Rhonda Rena Floyd , 59 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born Thursday, December 11, 1958 in Sparta, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Eiffie and Josephene Black Simmons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elise White and Jenny Humphrey.

She is survived by her son, Terry Wayne Floyd (Tabatha) of Spencer; grandchildren, Taylor Lee Floyd, Tanner Wayne Floyd, Tara Lee Floyd, and Samantha Marie Floyd; brother, Joe Simmons (Brenda) of Sparta; sister, Wilma Copeland (Gary) of Sparta; many friends, neighbors, nieces, and nephews also survive. A Memorial service will be held at 6pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Tracy Curtiss officiating. The family will welcome friends from 4pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
