Richard E. Scott, 75, of New Port Richey, Florida, formerly of London, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in his residence. Richard was born July 5, 1942 in Marion, Ohio, a son of Richard A. and Genneva (Mason) Scott. His family was the most important part of his life.

He was a master craftsman, loved Gunsmoke, and old American cars. Richard is survived by his wife of 56 years: Phyllis (Baker) Scott; sons: Jim (Jana) Scott of Grove City; Mike (Nicole) Scott of Powell, Ohio; sisters: Marcia Kirt; Judy Reeves, both of London; Pam (Max) Stortz of Grove City; grandchildren: Diane Scott, Makenzie Scott, Carson Scott, Madison Scott, Payton Scott, and Sydney Scott; great grandchildren: Lily Mumaw and Luke Hay; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his: parents; brothers: Philip and Mike.

A funeral service will be held at the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London, Tuesday, May 1, 2018, 1:00 PM. with the Reverend Dortha Ross officiating. The family invites friends to call at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 AM.
