Obituary for Rich Warren Rich Warren, age 87, born in Indianapolis, Indiana went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, December 17, 2018 in the Meramec Bluffs Senior Living community in Ballwin, Missouri. Warren is survived by his sister, Sally King. Warren was married to Delores Vogler for 54 years before she passed in 2015.

She was his one and only and the center of their family life. They have four children: Jeffrey (Miriam), Douglas, Rebecca (Marty Coulter) & David (Stephanie), nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family meant everything to him and he cherished making great memories with them.

Warren attended Shortridge High School and earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant with the 553rd Engineer Battalion Construction at Maison Fort, France. In 1967 he started the firm of Brusco-Rich, Inc. which was the predecessor of Thermal Mechanics, Inc., a distributor of heating, air conditioning, industrial heat transfer, and temperature control equipment.

He was a great leader that built his company to thrive well beyond his retirement. Warren was a journeyman golfer at Forest Hills Country Club and always enjoyed the game. He was a lifetime supporter of the Purdue Boilermakers as a member of the Presidents Council and John Purdue Club.

He was an avid Boilermaker fan to the end. He and Delores were members of Salem United Methodist church for over 40 years where they supported the church and their outreach programs by serving in many capacities. Most of all he was a great husband and father in every sense of the word.

He touched many lives, he was a friend to all and he will be truly missed. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00pm at: Salem United Methodist Church, 1200 S Lindbergh Blvd, Saint Louis, MO 63131 Donations can be made in his memory to Salem United Methodist Church or to American Parkinson’s Disease Association.
