On Sunday, February 3, 2019, Rick peacefully left this world and joined Mom and Dad on the other side. Growing up, Rick was always the one who would make us laugh when family gatherings got too serious. He loved reading and had numerous books and publications he kept up with on a daily basis.

He enjoyed the outdoors, being an avid biker who would pedal for miles most weeks, soaking in the scenery along the Lake Michigan coastline where he took pictures of the sunsets, light house piers, beaches and wildlife. Rick was very gracious and thoughtful of others; always a loving brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. Beloved son of the late Constantine and Elizabeth “Betty” Varee.

Dear brother of Ken (Julie) Varee, Tom Varee and Linda Varee. The family will receive friends Saturday 10:30 am until time of memorial Mass 11 am at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Madison Heights. Private inurnment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Roseville.
