Richard C. Turcotte, 69, passed away on April 4, 2018 at Columbus LTACH in Newark, NJ. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ he lived there until moving to Kearny 20 years ago. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and remained in the Navy until his retirement as a Boatswain’s Mate First Class on November 1, 2000.

On Thursday, February 7, 2019 Mr. Turcotte’s casketed remains will be placed aboard the USS Oak Hill at Naval Station Norfolk in Norfolk, VA. . The ship will depart on Friday, February 8, 2019 with burial at sea scheduled for Saturday, February 9, 2019.
