Obituary for Richard C Stark Funeral Mass for Richard C. Stark, 94, of Concord Township, will be 2 p.m. Friday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge, Concord Township. (Family and friends are asked to meet at church. ) Mr. Stark passed away Monday, Oct.

29, 2018, at his residence. Born Aug. 2, 1924, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living in Willoughby Hills and Painesville Township before moving to Concord Township.

He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Concord Township, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus and Lake County Builder’s Association. Mr. Stark was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, loved his family and enjoyed walking and hiking. Richard was the beloved husband of 69 years to Mary Caryle (nee Hanson) Stark; loving father of Brian D. (Joyce) Stark, Bradley M. Stark, Nancy J. Markanovic, and Bruce H. (Jeanne) Stark; cherished grandfather of Brian (Lara), Terry (Monica), Jeremiah, Justin (Amanda), Adam and Trevor; great-grandfather of Carson, Jacob, Kendall, Jocelyn, Gabriel, Elliot and Alexander; brother of Donald (Ruth) Stark; and uncle of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jane (nee Zelle) Stark; and brothers, Jack (Marion) Stark and Ralph (Helen) Stark. Burial will be private. The family suggests contributions in his name be made to St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd.
