Geraldine E. “Gerry” Pekar (nee Reth) age 105, passed away Dec. 19, 2018 at Slovene Home for the Aged in Cleveland. She was born Oct.

8, 1913 in Lima, Ohio. Gerry was a Registered Nurse and worked many years at Euclid Hospital and Slovene Home for the Aged. She was a 1931 graduate of Lima Central High School and was a great fan of sports.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Cheryl); grandchildren, Kevin (Lori), Darren (Sharon), Michael Baldwin, Patricia Baldwin, Nicholas Beard; great… Read More » grandchildren, James, Jack, Joseph, Madeline, Joshua, Jacob, Maxamus and Lillian. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Dec.

29 at 11 AM at Victory Baptist Church, 8911 Lake Shore Blvd. in Mentor. Contributions to American Red Cross would be appreciated.
