Obituary for John H. “Jack” McDonald Funeral Mass for John H. “Jack” McDonald, 84, of Mentor, will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd. , Mentor. Father Tom Johns will officiate at the Mass.

Jack passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland. Born Oct.

22, 1934 in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident for 58 years living Wickliffe and Mentor. He was an employee of United Parcel Service (UPS) where he served as a supervisor and retired after 34 years. Jack was a member of St. John Vianney Church and the Irish American Club-East Side Inc. in Euclid.

He loved working in his yard and was a “home body”. He loved being with his family and was a great husband. His wife was his “True Love”.

Jack was the beloved husband of 63 years to Mary Kay (nee Frazier) McDonald; loving father of Lori A. (Rick) Hansen, Terry M. McDonald and Kelly D.(Tim Sloban) McDonald; cherished grandfather of Ricky (Tifffany), Megan (Tim, fiancé), Sean (Jessica, fiancée), Erin (Jim, fiancé) and Brendan; great-grandfather of Dylan, Aiden, Brionah, Ariana, Brooklyn and Isabellah; brother of Mary Ann Romano and Betty Lou Spencer; and uncle of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Julia (nee Sumskis) McDonald; and brother-in-law, Harrold Spencer. Family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., (Rt.

615, north of Rt. 2) Mentor. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
