Funeral services for George S. “Steve” Shepherd, 75, of Eastlake, will be at 11 AM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave. , Willoughby. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.

Steve passed away January 26, 2019 in Willoughby. He was born October 25, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. Steve worked at Kroger in Mentor, Penny Pincher Foods in Willoughby and Super K Mart in Mentor.

He enjoyed model railroads, aquarium fish, gardening, and being with family. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Susan (McCabe) Shepherd and daughter, Kris (Chuck) Dugan. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families and dear friends, Marianne and Bud Crouser and family.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steve A. Shepherd in 2016. His parents, George and Blanche Shepherd and sister Gail Jaworski are also deceased. Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
