Obituary for Joan Marie Morgan Funeral Mass for Joan Marie (nee Blakemore) Morgan, 88, of Willoughby, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Hilary Parish, 2750 West Market St., Fairlawn. Mrs. Morgan passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, at the Village of St. Edward’s in Fairlawn.

She was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Cleveland. Joan was a member of St. Hilary Church in Fairlawn and a former member of St. Noel Church in Willoughby Hills.

She loved being with her family and grandkids, enjoyed vacations, especially vacations in Captiva, and lunches with her daughters. Holidays were always so special to her, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. Joan was a loving and caring woman to all of those lives she touched.

Mrs. Morgan was active as a realtor for more than 40 years prior to her retirement. The last 20 years, working with her daughters at Keller Williams in the Akron area. She was the loving mother of Laurie Morgan Schrank (Gary Lowry), Pamela (Michael) Egan, Stephanie (William) Delaney and David Charles Morgan; cherished grandmother of Michael (Angie) Six, Emily (Michael) Beers, Rachel (Aaron) Rich, Greg Schrank, Morgan (Gregory) Amend, Stephanie (Shane) Brandy, Brian (Anna) Egan, Conor Egan, Patrick (Christina) Delaney, Kaitlin Delaney, Daniel (Kim) Delaney, Timothy Delaney, Matthew (Jessica) Shannon and Michaela Shannon; great-grandmother of Elena, Eli, Lila, Abby, Rowan, Riley, Claire, Tess, Jack, Will, Colin, Oliver, Teddy, Blake, Finn and Taron; sister of Kay Krenn, Noreen Fitch and Dr. John (Renie) Blakemore; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles E. “Chuck” Morgan in 1998; daughter, Dee Dee (Paul, dec. ) Kinnison; parents, William C. and Dorothy (nee Schwartzenberg) Blakemore; brother, William Blakemore; and brothers-in-law, Jack Krenn and Jim Fitch. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the Mass at the church.

Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 4550 Montgomery Ave. , Suite 1100 N., Bethesda, MD 20814 or www.
