Richard D. Gileau, 63, of Mulhearn Drive, Coventry, RI, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at home. Born on October 8, 1954 in Warwick, RI, he was the son of the late William and Lillian (Szczsponik) Gileau. Richard was a custodian for the Town of Coventry, RI, for eighteen years before retiring.

He is survived by two brothers; William Gileau and Willard Gileau, seven sisters; Irene Jarvis, Sylvia Brown, Vivian Sprague, Doris Chauvette, Judy Keenan, Donna Dalton and Valerie Gileau. He was predeceased by a sister; Linda Petrangelo. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 am in the Gorton-Menard Funeral Home & Crematory, 721 Washington Street, Coventry, RI.
