Richard E. Lee Richard E. Lee passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. Born in Chester, SC in 1942, he was the son of the late Walker E. and Richie Wilkes Lee. He was employed by National Welders for 37 years.

He was a former member of St. Andrews Lions Club and the American Welding Society. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Harley E. Lee; two daughters, Catherine Lee and Annie Cannon (Todd); brother, William Lee (Frances); sister, Rosemary Barber (Pat); three grandchildren, Joseph Monts (Roma Zhu), Zachary Monts (fianceé Nicole Schmitz) and Catherine Wood; and great- grandchild, Rhett Zhu-Monts; many nieces and nephews; and many cousins. He was predeceased by sisters Janet Fox and Katherine Lee.
