RICHARD F. TERWILLIGER, 88, of Perry Township, Clarion Co. passed away Friday(06-15-18) morning at his residence. He was born on the family farm in Perry Township on Jan. 24, 1930 to the late Eli Tilden and Laura Belle Foust Terwilliger.

He was married in the parsonage at Callensburg, Pa. on Sept. 14, 1951, and enjoyed nearly sixty years of marriage to the former Donna J. Riggle who passed away April 18, 2011.

Dick was a heavy equipment operator most of life working for various coal companies, but his longest tenure was with C&K Coal Co. of Clarion, Pa. from where he retired. He also owned and operated the former Eli Terwilliger family farm in Perry Twp.

as long as health allowed him to enjoy farming. He was a member of the West Freedom United Methodist Church. Dick enjoyed hunting and creating many wooden, unique gifts for his family.

Surviving are six daughters: Karen (Arnold) Reedy, Marcia(Shirl) Pollock, Linda (Ronald) DeHart and Patty Terwilliger, all of Parker, Connie (Gale) Simpson of Toana, VA. , and Denise (Randy) Kriebel of Callensburg; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two sisters: Dorothy (Harold) Carmichael of Trafford, PA.

and June Bingaman of Gaithersburg, MD. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by siblings Glenna Morgan, Agnew McGlaughlin, Donald, Warren, Paul, and Russell Terwilliger. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So.

Wayne Ave. , Parker, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Concord Pres.
