CHARLES A. DUESPOHL, JR. , 95, of Karns City passed away at Chicora Medical Center on July 8, 2018. Born in West Monterey, Pa on January 19, 1923 he was the son of the late Arnold and Clara Cochran Duespohl.

Charles went to school in Karns City, Pa and delivered milk from 1941 to July 1942 at Dream Valley Farms in Parker, Pa. After high school, Charles served three years in the Army Air Force and was discharged on December 25, 1945 with rank of Corporal. He then went on to work and retire after 45 years from Sonneborn Refinery in Petrolia, Pa.

Charles was a devoted member of the Living Waters Community Church of Butler. He married Esther May Taylor Duespohl in September 1946, whom preceded him in death on December 17, 2014. Charles is survived by six children, Peg Tatsak of Zelienople, Pa.

, Charlotte Stephens of the Philadelphia, Pa. area, Rhonda Svendsen of Falls Church, Va. ,Thomas Duespohl of Butler, Pa.

Diane Kunz of Butler, Pa. , and Dale Duespohl of Hurricane, W.V. Fourteen grandchildren, two great granddaughters and one great grandson. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 2-4 with funeral following at 4:00PM at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So.

Washington St., Eau Claire. Interment will follow at West Monterey Cemetery, Perry Twp.
