Obituary for Richard Hebert Richard Hebert, 79, a native of Bayou Cane, Louisiana and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on February 11, 2019. A visitation will be held in his honor on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No.

2. He is survived by his wife, Janice P. Hebert of 57 years, children; Penny Hebert, Cindy Matherne (Mark), Tammie Trahan; grandchildren, Dr. Troy Antill (Kati), Jonathan LeBlanc (Sarah), Brady Antill (Courtney), Monique Parson (Nathan), Brooke Trahan (Scott Sevin), Bryce and Morgan Adams, Ethan, Evan, and Emmit Adams; great grandchildren, Kirsten “KiKi”, Cooper, and Hudson Antill, Caleb Antill, Owen and Conrad Parsons, Scarlett LeBlanc; brother, Dean Hebert; sisters, Wanda and Rosalie Hebert. He is preceded in death by his parents, Berwick Hebert and Clara LeCompte Hebert; son-in-law, Jerry “JT” Trahan; great grandchild, Angel LeBlanc.

He was retired from Texaco and Mobil. He served in the US National Army Reserves and the United States Marine Corps. He loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
