Richard (Papa Rick) Phillips,64, of Evans, departed this world, Tuesday November 27, 2018. Leaving behind his wife Nancy, mother Margie Phillips Hawkins, brothers Mike and Marty Phillips, step children Eric and Amy, and his cherished grandchildren Ian, Richard, Garrett, Oliver and Ember. Rick was a Veteran of the USAF, a Freemason, and a graduate of USC.

He traveled extensively while employed by Flour Daniel Construction, starting as a craftsman and working up to Operations Manager, from Saudi Araba and Canada, and several sites in Augusta. He loved God, his Country, Family and friends; hunting, fishing. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at Mosaic UMC with Military Honors.
