Obituary for Richard Davis Richard Manchester Davis , 89 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at his residence. Born Sunday, June 30, 1929 in Quidnick, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late Henry Davis and the late Maud Manchester Davis. He was the husband of Bonnie Bartow Davis .

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Davis of Sparta; son, Peter Rogers Davis (Sarah Jayne) of LaGrange, New York; son, Steven Rogers Davis (Barbara) of New Canaan, CT; son, Christopher Rogers Davis (Selma) of MA; and seven grandchildren, Rachel and Jack; MacKenzie and Ryan; and Oliva, Henry, and Morgan Davis. The family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
