Obituary for George Thomas Gribble George “Mike” Thomas Gribble was born October 19, 1955 departed this life on November 1, 2018 at his residence in Sparta Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Myrtle Odean Gribble and grandparents Rose and Jessie Paige and Hobert and Guider Gribble. Mike leaves behind his siblings: Barbara Bush of Miami, FL.

, Wenda (Tommy) Leftwich, Judy Henderson, Cheryl Williams all from Sparta, Linda Dowell of Antioch, TN, Marty (Kim) Gribble of Algood, TN and a slew of nephews, nieces and special friends. Mike attended school in White County and served in the United States Army. He was a Bible scholar and a faithful member of Roberts Street Church of Christ.

Service is scheduled for Tuesday November 6, 2018 with visitation from 10am until 12 noon. The service will follow at Oaklawn Funeral Home in Sparta TN. The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations be made to American Cancer Society for “Wenda’s Warriors” or to the Cancer Center at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in memory of Mike.
