OBITUARY Richard (Rick) Davis Grafton Richard (Rick) Davis Grafton, age 69 of Mt. Juliet, TN, died unexpected Saturday, December 22, 2018 after surgery at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn. Born July 2, 1949 in Clarksdale, MS.

to the late A.D. and Jean Coggin Grafter, Rick grew up in Clarksdale, Mississippi and was a graduate of Clarksdale High School where he played football and Delta State University. He and his wife, Joann owned and operated a successful landscape maintenance company they called Grafton Enterprises. Rick loved his family, fishing and Mississippi State football.

He was a man filled with joy and laughter and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed his family and his extended family in Mississippi where he often visited. A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM Friday, Dec.

28, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel, 535 Shute Lane, Hermitage, TN. 37076 with his cousin, Steve Holland, speaking. Visitation will be from 4 PM-7PM Thursday, 12/27/18 and one hour prior to the service on Friday.

His Mississippi cousins at Holland Funeral Directors, Tupelo, are honored to be chosen for arrangements and direction with assistance from Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. He is also survived by 4 sons: Jason (Nikki) Grafton of Madison, MS. , Ben (Jane) Grafton of West Memphis, AR. , Wayne (Jenny) Moore of Murfreesboro, TN, and Steve (Dawn) Moore of Mt.

Juliet, TN. , as well as 8 grandchildren and a host of friends everywhere who loved and cherished the time they spent with him. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, William “Bill” Grafton.
