Richard Earl Walker, 97, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Richard was born March 3, 1921 in Town Bluff, Texas to John T. Walker and Inez Tucker Walker. He was a resident of Port Neches for 73 years and a retired Duty Foreman with Sun Oil.

Richard was a member of First United Methodist Church in Port Neches, Port Neches Masonic Lodge #1163, and Port Neches VFW Post 4820. He proudly served in the US Army Air Corps with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Port Neches with Reverend Michael Peschke officiating.

Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Walker, brothers, Jewel and Elmer Walker.

Surviving relatives include his son, Dennis Walker and companion Donna Murphy of Port Neches, Texas; grandson, Clint Walker and wife Jen; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Madilyn and Tucker Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children Burns Hospital, 815 Market Street, Galveston, Texas 77550-9969.
