Richard Beckham, 68, of Bowling Green passed away at his residence on March 12, 2019. The Warren County native was born September 23, 1950 to the late William and Rose (Balshe) Beckham. He was also preceded in death by brother, Eddie Beckham and step-son, Joey Hubbard.

He was a decorated Vietnam Army Veteran and Bronze Star recipient. He was a great person, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved watching TV westerns. Survivors include his longtime companion of 39 years, Margie Johnson; son, William Beckham Spearman; sisters, Sue and Mary Jo; brother, Roger Beckham; stepsons, Michael Hubbard (Freda), Kenny Hubbard, and Billy Hubbard (Vanessa); stepdaughter, Lisa Ryman (Roger); special daughter-in-law, Amanda Hubbard; thirteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with visitation from 1 until 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will take place in Bowling Green Gardens. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
