OBITUARY Rickey David Pitre December 21, 1957 – October 10, 2018 Rickey David Pitre passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at the age of 60. He was the beloved husband of Michelle Pitre and the late Jana Gray. He was the father of Brooke Pitre (Chase) and Christopher Pitre (Christi).

He was the stepfather of David Gray, Christuina Hingle (Scott), Derrick Hingle (Jade), and Randy Tassin Jr. Grandfather of Isaac, Harleigh, Kody, Cameryn, Alexandria, Breial, Christopher, Cade, Cole, Cailie, Erik, and Noah, as well as the late Iean. Son of the late Raymond Pitre Sr. and Norma Savoie Pitre. Brother of Melissa Guidry (Alvin), and Barbara Lambert as well as the late Ronnie Pitre (Ruby), Raymond Pitre Jr. (Doreen), Robert Pitre, and Bernard Pitre.

Though he was close with all of his nieces and nephews, he was especially close with Blue, Alex, and Bessie. He was a native of Houma, a longtime resident of Westwego, and a current resident of Franklinton. He was a loving, funny, caring, giving person with a heart of gold.

He will be remembered as an awesome father and grandfather not only by his own kids, but by any kids that would let him. He had a positive impact on many. He was loved and will be missed.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM, and continue after the service until 9:00 PM. Express condolences at www.
