Rickey Harness age 51, of Winfield, Tennessee, departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2018 after a short battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side. He was born February 9, 1967 in Huntsville, Tennessee to Martha Harness. He was a member of Bull Creek United Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanetta Harness; mother, Martha Harness; father and mother-in-law, Hugh L. and Nina Carroll; infant granddaughter, Lindsey Dale Butler; grandmother and… Read More » grandfather, Winfield and Bertha Harness. Rickey is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Carroll Harness; (3) daughters, Heather Harness and Darrell Threet, Judy Chaney and husband Joe, Stacey Cox and husband Jason; stepson, Adam Chambers; grandsons, Dalton Threet, Patrick, Chevy, Brody, Caden, Jacob and Kaleb, Chaney and Tyler Honeycutt, Nicolas and Andrew Chambers; granddaughters, Kylie Eskew and Kaelie Eskew; sister, Ellen and Howard Lawson; brother, Marshall Harness; special friends, Bruce and Lisa Lowe, Bobby and Wanda Cotton; several nieces, nephews, and so many other family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M., until time of funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018 in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with Bro.

Don Hughett and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Burial will follow in the Bull Creek Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Chaney, Darrell Threet, Danny Harness, Max Carroll, Johnny Cotton and Jason Cox. Honorary Pallbearers will be Patrick Chaney and Kaleb Chaney. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to: Rickey Harness Memorial Fund c/o Four Oaks Funeral Home P.O. Box 410 Huntsville, TN 37756 Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville is in charge of the arrangements for the family of Rickey Harness.
