Obituary for Rickie K. Carpenter Rickie K. Carpenter, age 55, of Buckhannon Road, Volga, died Friday, October 19, 2018, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born December 26, 1962, in Warren, Ohio, a son of the late Bennie and Linda Reed Carpenter. On October 10, 1986, he was united in marriage to Donna Anderson Carpenter, who survives.

Also surviving are their two children: Joseph Carpenter and wife Jennifer of Volga and Roxanna and husband Zachariah Wilson of Buckhannon; four grandchildren: Dylan Carpenter, Josiah Wilson, Terah Wilson, and Kolby Carpenter; one brother Jeff Carpenter and wife Penny; four sisters: Renee and husband Jeff Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC, Keena and husband Bud Sanders of Hodgesville, Sherry Berkenstock of Clarksburg, and Benetta and husband Paul Deynzer of Buckhannon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Carpenter had been employed by Broaddus Hospital as the Director of Support Systems. He was also a carpenter by trade and enjoyed blacksmithing and crafting knives.

He loved camping, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle, but his greatest passion was for the love of his life, his wife Donna. The body will be cremated. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 10-11:00 AM, at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel.
