Rita K. Banks, 68, of DeWitt, Iowa, passed away late Wednesday October 17, 2018, at Westwing Place in DeWitt. Rita Kay Greene was born January 14, 1950, in Savanna, Illinois, to Russell and Edna (Shaw) Greene. She married William Stewart, with whom she had five sons.

She later married Jimmy Banks. Rita worked at a clothing store in Florida before moving back to the area. She enjoyed time with her family, Bingo, Yahtzee!

, card games, watching movies, dogs, and a good cup of coffee. She is survived by her sons, William (Therasa Schleuning) Stewart, Jr., Darrell (Rose Rice) Stewart both of Fulton, Illinois, James (Michelle) Stewart of McCausland, Russell (Veronica Gors) Stewart of Clinton, and Jason (Sarah) Stewart of Castleton-On-Hudson, New York; grandchildren, Shelby and Devon Stewart, Michael Rice, Jessica, Hailey, Courtney, Hannah, Kristin, Autumn and Braden Stewart, Ryan and Jacob Stewart, Jason Stewart, Jr. and Austin and Carter Mantello; siblings, Rosemary Stewart of DeWitt, Randy (Sherry) Greene of Richland Center, Wisconsin, Nancy Greene of Savanna, Illinois, and Peggy Sue Greene of Boulder, Montana; a sister-in-law, Donna Greene; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and a brother, Russell.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2018, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. A Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at McCausland Cemetery.
