Robert “Bob” A. Myers June 29, 1951 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Robert A. Myers (You can call me “Bob”), age 67, passed on February 1, 2019. Robert was born on June 29, 1951 to the most loving parents that pre-deceased him, William O. Myers Jr. and Elizabeth P. Myers (nee Drysdale). Robert (“Bob”) lived in Palmyra, NJ, Edgewater Park, NJ and for the past 19 years resided in Pennsville, NJ with his sister Sally E. Myers & his younger brother, John E. Myers.

In addition to Sally and John, he is also survived by his eldest brother, James W. Myers, of NC, his younger sister, Susan M. Pappa, his brother-in-law, Frank Pappa, FL and nephew Jake (the loving german shepherd). Bob was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Barbara Myers. His first job, at age 12, was a paper route for the Burlington County Times, for which he was very proud.

Bob then went on to work in Westville, NJ as an assembly line person and then at the Beverly National Cemetery as a grounds keeper. He then was a clean up & shoe shine person at Sam’s Barber Shop, and then at John’s Barber Shop, both located in Edgewater Park, NJ. Bob attended the day program at the Occupational Training Center in Westhampton, NJ until his move to Salem County at which time he started work at The ARC of Salem County.

He loved people and saw the good side of everything. In spite of his life long disabilities, he forged through and always had a smile and a kind word for everyone that crossed his path. Funeral services and interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations in Bob’s memory to the ARC of Salem County, 150 Salem-Woodstown Road, PO Box 5, Salem, NJ 08079.
