Robert “Bob” Allen Dietsche, age 69 of Redgranite, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Wm S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison. He was born on March 19, 1949 in Marshfield to Darold and Elizabeth (Boehm) Dietsche. Bob graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1968 and then joined the U.S. Air Force.

He serviced his country in Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1972. He then Joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard and retired after 27 years of service. Bob worked at Briggs and Stratton and retired after 30 years of employment.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trains, fixing motors and was a sports fanatic. Bob was always willing to help and provided answers to the families’ questions about locations, fixing things or any other questions they had. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by the love of his life: Donna Dietsche; daughters: Janet Dietsche, Crystal (Tony) Acosta; grandchildren: Stephanie, Tony, Claudia, Jonathan, Emily; step granddaughter: Stephanie Conry; siblings: Geri Wilson, Richard Dietsche; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Barb and Kathy and sister-in-law: Judy Dietsche. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma followed with Military Honors.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9AM until the time of services at 11AM.
