Robert Ernst Schrick, 74, of Shawnee passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Olathe Health Hospice House. Bob was born July 16, 1944 the son of Fred and Helen Schrick in St. Louis, Missouri. On September 3, 1988 he married the love of his life Charlotte who he leaves behind.

Bob worked in landscaping for most of his life. He began working in St. Louis with his father at their family landscaping business. He later owned his own business and eventually retired working with Top Care Landscaping.

During a five year break from the industry he worked as a Police Officer in St. Louis. Bob enjoyed camping and painting. He coached his kids and grandkids’ baseball teams and was their greatest supporter.

Bob loved to laugh and was very optimistic. His greatest asset in life was his family. He was a wonderful husband, great father and an exceptional grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Including his wife Charlotte of 30 years, Bob leaves behind four daughters, Tina Rosenberg, Shelley Ghezzi (Joe), Melanie Jondle (Mike), and Stephanie Lizotte (Jonathan); three step children, Brian Pringle (Karen), Aaron Pringle (Kelly) and Kimberly Schieber (Matt). A visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date in St. Louis.
