Robert E. “Bobby” Poteete, 63, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas passed away Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at his home in Horseshoe Bend. He was born in Morrilton, Arkansas on January 30, 1955, son of the late Ruby Josephine (Curwick) and Willie Ray Poteete. Bobby spent his life as a loving son, father, grandfather and friend.

He served our country in the United States Navy during Desert Storm. Bobby spent 21 years in the Navy before retiring. His favorite hobby was putting together models, whether that be cars, airplanes, or boats.

He loved anything with an engine. Bobby is survived by his son, Patrick Poteete and wife Tawanya of Ash Flat, Arkansas; step-daughter, Marisa Beard; step-son, Billy Eaton; grandchildren, Alicia Poteete and Dakota Poteete both of Ash Flat, Arkansas and step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ruby Poteete.
