Robert “Bubba” William Hill, 82, of Ladson, husband of Joan Craven Hill, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 at 2 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Entombment will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd. , Summerville, SC 29485. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Bubba was born on September 17, 1936 in Cottageville, SC, son of the late Jedious R. and Lillian Wiggins Hill. He was a graduate of Summerville High School class of 1956. He was a member of Ladson Baptist Church.

Bubba retired from Reddy Ice after serving 50 plus years in the Tri-County area. He enjoyed sports, gardening and working in his yard. Survivors are his wife Joan of 62 years and two daughters: Denise “Dee” Hill Hardwick (Billy) of Columbia and Tammy Yvonne Hill of Goose Creek; four grandchildren: Bridget N. Collins, Kimberly H. Klosterman (Ben), Eric R. Hardwick (Stacy), and Jared W. Collins; six great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one brother: Sonny Hill and one sister: Rose Marie Gilbert. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www. jamesadyal.com.
