Robert C. “Skip” Snyder, Jr., 71, of Butler, died unexpectedly, Thursday, September 13, 2018. Born July 14, 1947 in Rochester, PA, he was a son of the late Robert C. Snyder, Sr. and Louise (Matterness) Snyder. Skip was a 1965 graduate of Butler High School and had worked as a salesman selling industrial fans.

He was a former member of the Meridian Vets Club, the Meridian Volunteer Fire Department and when he was younger was active in Meridian Little League Baseball. He is survived by his sister, Maryellen Walter of Butler. 1 niece, Marianne (Tom) Norris, along with their children, Haley, Madison and Connor, of Renfrew.
