Robert’s Obituary Robert “Bobbit” Callicott passed away peacefully in his home in Port Orange, FL on January 27, 2019 with his loving wife and family at his side. Robert was born on December 3, 1940 in Chicago, IL to his parents Patrick and Lessie “Bea” Callicott. After graduating from Mainland High School, he joined the U.S. Airforce and married his high school sweetheart, Mary Matthews, on November 12, 1960.

He went on to study at the University of Miami, where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, he worked for Martin Marietta, Sikorsky Aircraft, Honeywell, and Northrop Grumman, where he eventually retired from in 2010. Aside from being a brilliant engineer, Robert was a man of God and devoted his life to his family and helping others.

He had four daughters and six granddaughters, and he gave each and every one of them the love and support they needed to achieve their goals. Robert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Callicott; his four daughters and son-in-law’s, Andrea and David Stuart, Sherry and Dan Donovan, Susan and Thor Raabe, and Christina Callicott; his six grandchildren, Truleigh Sargent, Ashleigh Stuart, Kjersti Linn Raabe, Shianne Soto, Kari Elise Raabe, and Kaley Anna Raabe; his two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Thomas Sargent; and his sisters, Roxanna Hickey, Jeanette Carter, and Barbara Hill. He is preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Callicott.

Thank you for joining us in celebration of our beloved Robert’s life. Say not in grief: “He is no more”, but live in thankfulness that he was.
