Robert’s Obituary Robert Charles Carten age 77 of Ionia, MI passed away January 8, 2019. He was born on September 26, 1941 in Ionia the son of John and Bessie (Steele) Carten. Robert married Valdrice Kellogg on July 3, 1971 in Ionia, she passed away February 19, 2017.

Surviving are his daughter Rachael (Blaine) Zeigler of Fenwick, grandsons Nolan Zeigler, Parker Zeigler and Micah Zeigler and his dog, Little. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Valdrice, brothers Harold Harley, Kenneth Harley and Richard Carten. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
