Bob was a dairy and grain farmer, an honest and hardworking man, and a lover of the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed time fishing in Birchwood, Wisconsin, on Chapman Lake and in Florida where he and his wife traveled each year. He always enjoyed travelling and, even during the dairy’s busiest years, was sure to make time to take his family camping.
He enjoyed the quiet times too – tending to his vegetable garden, mowing the yard and reading the novels of Louis L’Amor. Bob wasn’t just a family man, he was active in his community and held a strong faith in Christ. He was a proud member of Warsaw Elks and Warsaw Moose Lodge.
He was the past Director and President of Kosciusko County Farm Bureau and Director of Associated Milk Producers, Inc., where he also served on numerous corporate and regional boards. Bob was the President of Milk Promotion Services of Indiana and a longtime member of North Winona Church of the Brethren.
