Plants, 82, of Gainesville, GA passed away January 4, 2019 at the NEGA hospital in Gainesville, GA. Bob was born July 6, 1936 at Hoyt, Kansas. He served four years in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic.

He married Mildred L. Stolle and they had two children: Larry Robert and Linda Kay. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville, GA. He was preceded in death by his son, Larry R. Plants, his brother, Clarence A. Plants and his sister, Edith M. Reed.

Bob is survived by his wife Millie Plants; a daughter, Linda K Plants; and a grandson Peter J. Plants; all of Gainesville GA; a brother, Jacob Plants and his wife Edith, of Lecompton KS; a brother-in-law, Richard Reed, of Topeka, KS as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Visitation will follow the service at the Hoyt Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
