OBITUARY Robert Donze June 13, 1940 – September 28, 2018 Robert R. Donze, age 78, passed away on September 28, 2018, at John J Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Born June 13, 1940, in Bonne Terre, MO. , to the late Raymond and Dora Ritter Donze.

He served in the United States Navy, where he played the clarinet for the naval band. He was a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic church for over 30 years. He taught band at New Madrid County Central until his retirement.

After he retired, he enjoyed restoring and tuning pianos. He also enjoyed golfing and was a member of the SEMO Seniors in Sikeston, MO. Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Courtney Donze of Poplar Bluff, MO.

; one daughter, Mistee Donze of Poplar Bluff, MO. ; one brother, Leo Donze of Sun City West, AZ. ; three grandchildren, Zachary Nowell of Poplar Bluff, MO.

, Jason Donze of Biloxi, MS. , and Matthew Donze of Poplar Bluff, MO. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Frances Ray Donze and his wife Patsy O’Donnell Donze.
