Obituary for Robert E. Lee Slatton Robert E. Lee Slatton, 95, widower of Betty Jean Whitman Slatton, passed away June 7, 2018. A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Jerry Arthur and Rosie Ella Cox Slatton; a retired employee of J. P. Stevens Victor Plant; a lifelong beekeeper and a member of Peoples Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Ann Harley (Bobby) and Gayle Allen all of Greer; two sons, Jerry Robert Slatton and Daniel Scott Slatton both of Greer; five grandchildren, Scott Austin, Chad Austin, Bruce Harvey, Amy Charping and Ethan Slatton and seven great-grandchildren.

Mr. Slatton was predeceased by one daughter, Sylvia Jean Slatton. Mr. Slatton was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Rev.

Larry Padgett and Rev. David Slatton. The family is at the home of Barbara and Bobby Harley, 358 Taylor Road, Greer, SC.
