Robert Eugene Moredock, 76, Kokomo, passed away at 11:05 a.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at his residence. Born November 30, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of the late David Lee Moredock and Violet Christenia Sample. On August 30, 1986, in West Middleton, Indiana, he was married to Rhoda “Dodie” Ricks, and she survives.

Robert was 1959 graduate of Western High School and retired from Chrysler in Kokomo. He was a member of the Greentown Masonic Lodge and Kokomo Shrine Club. He loved antiques, ham radio, yard work, and his canine companions, Tinker and Joy.

He is survived by his wife, Dodie Moredock, Kokomo; children, Gary Moredock, Mike Moredock, and Jody (Brian) Hoff, step-children, Dawn Eaker, Dodie (Eric) Weaver, and Richard Rhine; grandchildren, Brad, Amanda, Daryn, Dustyn, Jake, Rick, Jon, Suzy; and great-grandchildren, Gavyn and Brianna; two brothers, Rick and Roger Moredock; and three sisters, Lynn Harbaugh, Sharron Porter, and Ralene Ramberger. A time of remembrance will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at the Kokomo Shrine Club, east of Kokomo on State Road 22, where a Masonic Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greentown Masonic Lodge #341 Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are being handled by McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.
