Robert F. Lowe 1927 – 2018 Robert F. Lowe, of Warrensburg, formerly of New Franklin, passed away May 7, 2018 at his home lovingly cared for by his family and friends. He was 91 years old. Mr. Lowe was born March 23, 1927 in New Franklin to George and Nellie Baker Lowe.

Bob was the fourth generation of his family to hold membership at the Boonesboro Christian Church and was a supporter of the Boonesboro Cemetery Association for many years. Bob served his nation in the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific. Bob started his career with his father at George Lowe’s Furniture and Appliance in Fayette.

He later was owner and operator of Complete Lawn and Landscape and Lowe’s Rentals in Warrensburg. Mr. Lowe held memberships in the Fayette-Howard Masonic Lodge #4, the Boone Chapter #290 Order of the Eastern Star, Laura Speed Elliott High School Alumni Association and the New Franklin High School Alumni Association. Cherishing his memory are two sons, Michael Lowe of Warrensburg and Kenneth Potter and wife, Kim of Wichita, KS; a sister, Bernice Sombart of St. Louis; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He also leaves his friend and caregiver Connie Spratt of Warrensburg. Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his wives, Dixie Lowe and Polly Lowe; a son Daniel Lowe and a sister, Maxine Crooks. Services honoring Mr. Lowe’s life will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin with Rev.

Roger McMurry officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Boonesboro Cemetery.
