Robert Francis Carl age 68, passed away Sunday, January 27 2019. Robert “Bob” was a giant among men who’s purpose in life was to take care and protect those he loved and held dear. He was the son of the late Joseph and Marianne Carl.

Brother to Silas, John, Joseph, Charles,and Dorthy Carl. Husband to Doris Carl( his soulmate) and father to Robert Mettler, Joseph Carl, Alicia Carl, and James Carl, father in law to Ashley Carl and Bryan Miller, papa to Lily Carl, Conley and Jarrod Mettler, Bailen Carl, and Makenna Walker. He was known and loved by many.

He will always be in our hearts. The family will receive friends and relatives at Martin Funeral Home in Oak Ridge TN, Thursday January 31st, from 12pm-2pm. His funeral will follow at 2pm.
