Robert’s Obituary Robert Howard Williams, age 70, of Lumberton, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019, at Duke Medical Center in Durham. He was born on October 16, 1948, in Robeson County to the late Elmer H. Williams and the late Letha Phillips Williams. He was formerly the foreman of Rowland Motor Co. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Britt Williams, and one sister, Helen Ruth Williams.

He is survived by two daughters, Pam Williams of Fayetteville and Lori Priest of Lumberton; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Wheeler of Fayetteville; one brother, Lacy J. Williams of Lumberton; one sister, Rebecca McCray of Lumberton; and his good friend, Billy Pittman of Lumberton. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at 2:00 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton with Pastor Mark Meadows officiating. Following the service, family will receive friends at the graveside.
