Sipes, Robert Lawrence, 72, Johnstown, died February 17, 2019 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born September 7, 1946 in Johnstown, son of Robert Leslie and Dorothy Jane (Shaffer) Sipes. Preceded in death by parents; grandmother, Catherine McClellan; brothers-in-law, Paul A. Pfuhl, Thomas C. Roberts Jr. and niece Mary E. Goebert.

Survived by wife of 51 years, Linda Lee (Roth) Sipes; sisters-in-law, Mary E. Pfuhl, Johnstown, Janet L. Goebert (John), College Station, TX,; Judith A. Roberts, Johnstown; Jean C. Mann (Ronald), Jefferson Hills, PA and thirteen nieces and nephews. He retired as a dispatcher from Penelec and was a US Navy Veteran, having served on the USS Luiseno. He was a member of the American Legion.

There will be no viewing or service. Interment Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements by Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills.
